DAY 4 — Reclaim Your Mental Real Estate
When you stop hauling other people’s bags, you get something back: time, energy, space in your head. The question is—what do you do with it?
Because if you don’t claim that space for yourself, someone else will.
Here’s what reclaiming looks like in practice:
- Pick up a book you actually want to read.
- Get on your bike, even if it’s just around the block.
- Paint something badly.
- Put on music you love and actually listen.
- Spend time with someone who leaves you lighter, not heavier.
It doesn’t have to be “productive.” It has to be yours.
The point is to remind yourself: you are allowed to enjoy your own life, not just manage everyone else’s.
Every reclaimed minute is proof you’re more than a background character in other people’s drama.
